Purpose:
This Program Staff position is a part-time appointment (.20 FTE) to support the work of the YAYA committee and to provide leadership to the presbyteries of Montreal and Ottawa Conference in the area of youth and young adult ministry in cooperation with the elected members. The position is a term position for one year with the option to renew annually, as determined by the Conference Executive.

Specific Outcomes and/or Key Position Functions:
• Creating “a virtual desk” of social networking

• Establishing and maintaining YAYA Facebook group, and YAYA twitter

Glebe-St James United Church wishes to employ a part-time (20 hours per week) Minister of Christian Education (Congregational Designated Minister, level 2) whose primary responsibility is to provide Christian Education programming for children and youth. Glebe-St James has a strong tradition of involving children and youth in our services through music, song, plays and pageants.
