Vulnerable Sector (level 2) Police Records Checks - Casier Judicaire: Secteur vulnerable

(traduction en français bientôt)

"The United Church of Canada is committed to providing a safe environment for worship, work, and study in all Pastoral Charges, congregations, institutions, agencies and organizations, or other bodies which operate under its name. The United Church of Canada seeks to ensure that all staff, volunteers, and ministry personnel who work with vulnerable individuals in United Church settings share this commitment." (Faithful Footsteps)

In recognizing its duty of care to all constituents, The United Church of Canada has adopted a policy requiring a vulnerable sector (level 2) police records checks upon application for positions of trust within the United Church, and at regular intervals for those serving in ongoing positions.

"Due to changes in Police Policy, Vulnerable Sector, level 2 Police Checks required by the UCC are no longer available from the company we have used.  Until further notice, these must be obtained through a personal visit to your local police department.  We regret this inconvenience."
