General Council Representative - Représentante du Conseil Générale

Vanda Orsini is currently the Manager  of Information Technology for the United Church of Canada. She is based in Toronto and has over 25+ years experience in the US and Canada. Over the years, she has led initiatives to deliver technology and business solutions that include information systems strategic planning and operations, package evaluation and implementation, IT consulting in ERP, systems purchasing and procurement, account and project management, network infrastructure design, as well as process and technology redesign transformation.

Vanda has a proven track record in developing technology solutions to improve operations, reduce cost and increase sales force effectiveness. She has worked in industries covering consumer products, beverages, hi-tech, e-commerce, retail, and government, and recently heading IT roles for 12 branches in North America’s largest beverage and vending machine company. In her current role she is responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and staff training for the United Church’s head office of 165 employees and 13 regional offices across the country.

She is a graduate of the Information Technology at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario.

She lives in Toronto and is the mother of one child.
