Living for the Earth: Contemplation & Action

1½ day Workshop to explore, reflect, encourage and advocate our call to live faithfully for the Earth

Workshop Leader: Mardi Tindal, Moderator of The United Church of Canada, along with
Ted Reeve, UCC Staff for Moderator's "God's Abundant Healing of Creation" Project, and
Kathleen Stephenson, UCC Overseas Personnel in Brazil

Participants are invited to an exploration of the local and global consequences of how we live with the Earth and its people.

Vivre pour la Création : contempler et agir

Du 4 mai (midi) au 5 mai (16h) 2010
Une session d'une journée et demie pour explorer, considérer et favoriser une façon de vivre avec fidélité pour la Création.

Animatrice : Mardi Tindal, modératrice de l'Église Unie du Canada
et Ted Reeve, membre du personnel de l'ÉUC pour le Projet " L'abondance de Dieu pour la guérison de la Création "
et Kathleen Stephenson, membre du personnel outre-mer de l'ÉUC au Brésil
(Mardi Tindal et Ted Reeve parleront en anglais. Suivant le nombre de participant-es francophones une traduction ad-hoc pourra être organisée parmi l'auditoire et aussi parmi des groupes de réflexion bilingues.)

Les participants exploreront les retombées locales et mondiales de leur façon de vivre sur la terre en collectivité.

What can we learn from Copenhagen as we explore the call to live faithfully for the Earth?
Personal reflection will be encouraged and steps for action and advocacy explored.
Participants will be encouraged to use their own language, English or French, with informal translation where necessary.

Snacks, refreshments, Tuesday lunch and dinner, and Wednesday breakfast and lunch are provided

Que pouvons-nous retirer de Copenhague en considérant l'appel à vivre avec fidélité pour la Création ?
Des moments de réflexion personnelle sont prévus ainsi qu'une initiation à des modèles d'actions revendicatrices.
Les participants sont invités à s'exprimer dans leur langue, en français ou en anglais : il y aura au besoin de la traduction de façon informelle.
