Dear friends,

I am a United Church minister serving at Beaconsfield United Church within Montreal Presbytery and was invited to be a participant in the Observer’s Mission from May 5th to May 17h,2010. The Mission is supported by a large number of NGOs and Church organizations including the National Council of churches of the Philippines and our United Church partner, The United Church of Christ in the Philippines. Over the past 5 years hundreds of journalists, lawyers, union leaders, civic politicians, medical doctors and clergy have disappeared and been executed, murdered, massacred and illegally detained.....
